MeloDot Club International Music Competition 2025

The MeloDot Club International Music Competition 2025 invites instrumentalists of all nationalities to participate via video auditions. The competition offers a platform for musicians of varying levels to gain recognition and showcase their talent.

Categories

Participants may compete in one of the following age/skill categories:

• Children’s group (10 years old and below)
• Junior high school group (11-14 years old)
• Senior high school group (15-18 years old)
• Adult amateur group (19 years old and above, non-professional musicians)

Multiple winners may be selected in each category.

Performance Requirements

• Participants must submit a video recording of one piece (maximum 5–6 minutes).

• A second piece may be submitted for an additional fee (no time limit).

• Only original works are accepted for pianists (no simplified or arranged versions).

• All performances must be memorized, except for ensembles.

• Videos must be unedited, recorded in a single take, and uploaded to YouTube.

Judging & Awards

• Submissions will be evaluated by three qualified judges.

• Judges’ decisions are final.

• Winners will be announced by email on July 10, 2025.

• Awards include:

  • Performance opportunity at Town Hall, Seattle, WA, or

  • Winner’s Package (for those unable to attend the recital)

  • Certificates and special prizes (at the judges’ discretion)
